Language Acquisition

Kaylyn and Brady have both made huge strides in their language development these past couple of weeks. For me, who spent 2 years in a reading development program, it is fascinating to watch. Brady has started talking, mostly "da-da-da-da," the easiest sound for babies to make. Kaylyn keeps trying to get him to say "Kay-Kay." He's not quite there yet. Kaylyn has learned to write her name!!! It is so darn cute because she writes it on everything. She was so afraid to write her name because she said the letter "k" was too hard for her to write, but she has worked through that. She also loves to "read" to her brother. All of the books she has memorized, she is very good at reading them, work for word. Darling. Love my smarty tarty kiddos!
