The New and Improved Patio

We needed a bigger patio, and when you see the pictures, you can see why. We have tooooooooo many toys. Now we have room for the sandbox, slide, house, and roller coaster, and still room for Kaylyn to ride around in her Cozy Coupe. Oh ya, and room for the table, chairs, and BBQ (things for mom and dad?) And we were talking... we have done a lot to this house. So in the wake of the housing crisis and economic drama, Brent and I have really come to realize how incredibly ripped off we got on our home, especially considering how the price was only high because people who couldn't afford homes were able to buy them and drive up the prices. So we made a list of all the things we have done to improve this house.

-new patio

-pergo floors downstairs

-travertine fireplace

-shutters/faux wood blinds

-new sliding door

-all new screens

-tiled bathrooms

-new carpet upstairs

-new front planter

-A/C and heater

-redid side yard and installed a gate

-put in 3 ceiling fans

-new porch, entry, and stairway lighting

-refinished kitchen cabinets, added hardware

-painted every room

-chairrail in living room

I wish I had dollar amounts assigned to each, but none of the things really help the fact that we've still lost a ton of money on the home.
