A Day at the Beach

For those of you who know us well, you are aware that we are obsessed with the beach... especially on warm days. So it will come as no surprise that we spent the first Saturday in April at the beach. This most classic setting deserved these classic black and white photos. Brady got his first taste of ocean water... freezing ocean water that is. While it did not phase his sissy, who was pretty wet by the end of the day, he did have a few tears after these shots were taken. Brent and I promised him the water would get warmer. Interestingly, a sweet elderly lady came over to compliment me on my darling children, and mentioned that she was visiting from Nebraska. They were getting a foot of snow dropped on them back home on this very same day. She told us to be thankful for where we live and for our beautiful children. We told her we were.
