Early birthday present

Brady wants a new skateboard for his birthday (we got him one and it's awesome). However, he has a little one from Christmas that he wants to ride more often.  We decided he needed one of his presents a little early, safety gear.  He wasn't excited about it, but there is a Berenstain Bears book where Mama makes brother and sister wear their safety gear while skateboarding and he likes it. At least we may avoid a few skinned knees and broken arms.
