Yosemite

We had such a great time in Yosemite. My parents, Stacey and Ryan, Brent, myself and the kids stayed in this fantastic cabin inside the park. The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us to relax and have space to ourselves. Kaylyn even had her own "secret room" which she has not stopped bragging about since we've been home. To make things easier, I will briefly outline our week.

Monday: explored the valley floor, hiked Bridalveil falls, bought Kay some new shoes, went out to Happy Isles trail head and went to the nature center

Tuesday: River rafted, a long fun day, but my camera died (it fell in the river)

Wednesday: Glacier Point phenomenal views

Thursday: Stacey, Ryan, Brent and I hiked Vernal Falls in 45 minutes! Kay and Brady saw a Ranger show with Nonna and Buppa and went to the Indian camp. Then we went to Devil's elbow and swam. We also got to see some deer cross the river to drink.

Friday: Hiked Lower Yosemite Falls, went to the museum, Indian Camp, Ansel Adams Gallery, and then everyone did their own thing that afternoon. We went to the Yosemite Lodge and swam.

Saturday: Went home :-( and stopped for a quick visit to the Maraiposa sequoia groves)

Thanks mom and dad! It was a great time.
